From the moment Alec was made in love, the moment we saw him born into this world until the moment we sat holding him taking his last breath in this world, we were proud and privileged to have him as our son. This life is just a drop in the ocean compared to eternity which we will have together with him, but until then we will have a part of us missing. He will remain loved and cherished in our hearts and we thank God for the life Alec had, which we were blessed to share with him.

I just don't have the words to say how much I love and miss you. But want to express how immensely proud I am of the way you coped with your illness, the bravery you showed, the way you put everyone else first, from your diagnosis right up to the last day. There is an Alec shaped hole in the world that will never be filled. Love you, my beautiful boy, Dad xx
